On Step 5, running the install script, when I try to open http://www.newmexicoapa.org/wp-admin/install.php I get a warning instead:

“Warning: require_once(/home/newmexi1/public_html/wp-load.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/newmexi1/public_html/wp-admin/install.php on line 36 Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/newmexi1/public_html/wp-load.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php’) in /home/newmexi1/public_html/wp-admin/install.php on line 36”.

Does anybody know what this means and what do I need to do to fix it? I think I uploaded the files correctly (I’m using Cyberduck). They’re under public_html.

The issue could be caused by server file permission settings.

Try re-uploading all files & folders from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.
