Imported data – Garbage

    I have a big problem. I have moved my WordPress blog from one host to another as last one went down. I had exported all my tables from earlier host. I am importing those in new installation however posts are now coming up with tags like &gt &lt &quot etc.

    Is there any way to clean these up.

    See if anything in the Character Set or DB Collation sections help:
    Editing wp-config.php

    For example if your blog was started pre 2.2 then you may need to delete DB_CHARSET or DB_COLLATE from your wp-config.php file.
