http://webdesignforless.ca/ is a highly customized WordPress installation that I just wrapped up. It makes the most of WP attachments by scanning posts for attachment images and displaying them throughout the site. The website is powered by WordPress 2.9.1 with a custom theme.

Posted 2 years ago #First and foremost, PLEASE upgrade to 2.9.2, and do NOT install anything less for your clients. Believe me, I've dealt with a slightly out-of-date install being hacked, and it is not fun.
I do like the way the layout is set up, though!
