   OK, so Im not a HTML kind of guy..

   My sidebar has a pic in the text widget, I want it to link to Obama's site.
   I am pretty sure I am suppose to use but am lost.

   this is what Ive got in the widget:
   table width="175" border="0">
   <tr>
   <td><img src="http://kielhurn.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/dsc02405.jpg"/>

   </tr>
   </table>

   how to make the picture link to a site and where to add the code?

   You need the <a> tag!!!! :-)
