   Hi

   I seem to be having an issue with my permalink settings and wondered if someone could shed some light on the issue?

   I'm simply trying to get my urls to use ".htm" at the end and not "/"

   this is what i have set: /%category%.htm

   yet the slash gets removed but doesn't display the .htm in the address bar? any ideas? have i missed something?

   you can't use that like that
   you can only use postname

   you could do like so
   /%category%/%postname%.htm
