.htaccess redirection

    I am migrating an HTML website to WP. The existing website has good search-engine ranking and many bookmarked pages.

    Can some kind soul tell me what to do in an .htaccess to build a table of redirects.

    eg.

    mysite/page1.html -> mysite/?p=10
    mysite/page2.html -> mysite/?p=11
    …
    mysite/pageX.html -> mysite/?p=XX
