Error - Can't Select Database (4 posts)

    I'm running a 3.0 wordpress on 000webhost's free hosting. They do not offer a Auto installer for free members, and i just wanted to test everything before i go live on a paid domain. I go to install wordpress in my browser and heres what i get(sorry for the photobucket links, i don't see a upload picture button):
    heres what i put in:

    Hi Jezzacob,

    The error you're seeing is most commonly shown when the database credentials are incorrect, or the database doesn't exist. I'm not familiar with 000webhost but my suggestion is to:

    1) Make sure you have created a database
    2) Assigned a user to that database with the un/pw you want to use
    3) Ensure the user has full permissions on that database
    4) Verify the database host

    By the looks of it, you've done these but double check #3 and #4 specifically as that ends up being the problem most of the time.

    Bumping thread. I tried that, i guess its my host. Anyone know a good free host?
