Is this Google Analytics? There are plenty of plugins that will do that. If not you will have to add the code to the header.php or footer.php file in your theme.

    It's a widget code.

You might need to add that to the functions.php file in your theme.

Widgets are often installed by a theme or a plugin, have you contacted the author?

You can edit the theme using the Appearance/Editor item in the Admin, or using FTP. Be sure to back up your site before trying this.

I don't recommend editing a theme directly on a production site. You should have a development site where you can try these things out and then copy the code to production using FTP.
