   Hi All,
   I just had a question regarding the installation of WordPress. Would I be able to have my files on one server and my Database on a completely different server? I have tried this method but I seem to be getting a connection error when I run the install. I have ensured that my database information is correct. Please let me know if this is even possible to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

   Certainly. That's pretty common in the shared-hosting world. Make sure your database server is configured to accept MySQL connections from other machines.
