"Deprecated" Error

    Just recently my website has been showing this “Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated” error in the admin panel and on my homepage. Anyone know why this is popping up and how to fix it?

    Have you installed any new plugins? I’d start by turning them all off and seeing if the error is still present. If it is switch to TwentyEleven for your theme and see if it’s still there.

    If it’s gone with no plugins running then one of the plugins is causing the error. Figure out which one and stop using it or ask the developer for an update.

    If it’s gone once you set TwentyEleven then it’s in your theme and it needs to be updated.

    Also make sure you’re using the most recent version of WordPress and all of the plugins are updated to their most recent versions.

    I keep getting the following message when I try to log in to my website:
