    Hello everybody,

Today, i decided to change a page from my blog

    http://fibromyalgie.x10.mx/

I wanted the "article" page to be the main page and therefore, i stupidly changed

    http://fibromyalgie.x10.mx/ by http://fibromyalgie.x10.mx/?page_id=2

    In one of the menues...

Now, my banner is gone, i have several bugs as the absence of the admin barre... aswell, i can't reach any admin page anymore to change that adresse back...

I'm a super novice, so i'm super screwed... Can anybody help me get the blog back?

    Thanks a lot

Can't access the page with the stuff i changed anymore....

The admin grey barre, supposed to be on the top, is now all buggy and not working.

Every click i do lead to the same main page.

Unfortunatly, my wp-config.php don't have that:

    define('WP_HOME',
    define('WP_SITEURL',

I'll check every file i can to find it. (because that is exactly what i need.

    Thanks

I tried, but it gave me lots of php errors. Could get any page back, so i restored all teh files.

Now i'm back to the initial problem.

Beside acting dumb at the beguining of this topic, i have to admit i have absolutly no knowledge in PHP.

I paid a guy to create that blog and i still get lots of errors, without having news from the coder.

esmi, thanks a lot. I really appréciate that you tried to help someone like me, with a fantastic "Zero level".

Read that page again. If you can, use Method 2 - editing your theme's function.php file. Follow the instructions very carefully and ensure that you add exactly what that section recommends and that you do not remove anything.

If that still fails, you may have to consider hiring someone to carry this out for you. For an experienced WP developer, it's a pretty quick job, so it should be relatively inexpensive.

Great! using method 2 again (but correctly this time...) i was able to get almost everything working back.

The blog is working fine, even if i have a php error message on top of it.

    ERROR_TITLE*/'WordPress » Erreur'/*/WP_I18N_ERROR_TITLE*/, array('text_direction' => $text_direction)); } ?>

I'll try to understand what it means and to fix it if i can, otherwise, i'll check how much it will cost to hire someone to fix it, and maybe update the WP revision.

Thanks for you very usefull help and patience.

Is this an English WordPress install or it it using another language?

It's an english install, would have been great if it was in french...

Then it's possible that you still have a damaged wp-config.php file.

I don't have a safe backup of that file... (my host is blocking the FTP if i access it too much, so my last backup attempt failled)

You could try manually re-recreating the wp-config.php file using the wp-config-sample.php file as a template.

Thanks fo the advice. I'll try to do this tomorrow. I'm not sure i'll be able to spot the error, because all that stuff has no meaning for me. Almost sure i'll copy the error at the same time, but i'm 100% sure i will not do any better today. (+1gmt)

Thanks a lot for your help, and i'm sorry i'm such a noob.

No problem. Just take it slowly and carefully and you should be fine. :-)
