    It seems odd that buttons would still show up after de-activation, actually it sounds impossible given how WordPress works. Can you post a link and/or some screenshots?

    Sorry I can’t get any screenshots. The site was a new install with a minimal amount of work already invested, so I simply deleted the entire site and re-installed with a brand new database.

    I can’t access your site…but again it’s really unlikely that anything would still show up after uninstall, other than the textual content of the shortcode itself of course, which needs to be removed from posts.
