   Hello!

   I had wordpress running on one PC and the Hard Drive died some time ago...

   I had a copy of the blog directory, but only that.

   Now I have installed a new Apache server and wordpress in a differente computer. So here comes the question:

   Is there any possibility of recovery my old and lovely blog to this new computer???? I do not know almost anything about MySQL and I do not know how to recover (if possible) the database of my old blog.

   If anybody can help me I would really apreaciate.

   I had a copy of the blog directory, but only that.

   If you mean a .sql file you can import it. Unless you saved the database dump somehow, I do not see you recovering the old blog info.
   Maybe have someone try to extract the hard drive contents?

   All your posts are stored on the database which you say you didn't have so sorry but the answer is no you can't recover it.
