Dashboard Modules – Not Loading

    I have a problem I have isolated to buddypress plugin. When buddypress is activated the following dashboard modules don’t load – Incoming Links, Plugins, WordPress Blog, and Other WordPress News. Each indicates loading, but they never do. How can I fix this problem or should I just shun Buddypress. My WordPress works fine otherwise. Of note, I am also using BBpress for forums and as a theme Elbee Elgee. Thanks for any help.
