Custom Image?

Hello.

I’d like to create a custom image for my main page. How can I do this?

I would like to upload an image easily, without editing code each time. It would be like a static picture, not part of a post basically, but it would change manually.

So I would set up a part of my page where the image would show but will refer to a picture I set in the dashboard..? Kind of like when the default theme asks for a header image.

Please help.
