I've noticed something recently in my site that whenever there are page switches ("Home" and "About") the entire content shifts some pixles to the right ( {left:XYZpx?})...
does anyone know of this and if whether it's something I'd have to adjust in the .css file of this theme?

I just looked at your site, but I don't see the problem you are describing.
Are you sure it's not because the browser's vertical scroll bar appears on the front page but disappears on the About page? (That fools me sometimes.)
