   Hello,

   WordPress is driving me a bit crazy. Sometimes people comment on threads and it gets out of hand. I want to be able to Close the post for Comments, but can't seem to do it. I know you can set your blog up not to accept any comments. Or to time it to close comments after a set amount of time. But why can't I just say enough is enough and simply close the comments once things start to get out of control???

   You can. Simply edit the post and untick the Allow Comments checkbox, then re-save the post.
