Can’t install plugins

    None of the plugins I’ve tried to upload has been successful.

    I doubled checked the file transfer process and was reassured I did it successfully. I have found no literature on whether the theme I’m using is compatible or not with the plugins. I’m using the Viala 1.3 theme.

    The problem is I’m looking in a directory where the “active” plug ins askimet and hello dolly are visible.

    The latest two plugins I’ve unsuccessfully tried to activate are the plugin for the simple-google=adsense-insertion and the one for the google news plugin. I find no menu for inactive plugins if that is the problem.
