cannot post

    When I try to type or cut and paste words into a new post they either don’t appear, or appear in a format other than the regular format that typically appears. When I click to see a preview, the post page appears but without any of the new words or paragraphs I’ve posted. This has happened while accessing from both a desktop and laptop. It has never happened before. HELP!

    I am having the same problem. Posts were working well until a few days ago but now they disappear when I click on publish. Only the title will show on the blog and all other content is wiped. This happens when I copy and paste from word or type directly into the text box. I am also unable to insert any pictures. I get to the point where I have uploaded them to the gallery but when I go to add the image into the post the computer freezes on the white add and image box. I have cleared the computer cache but am not sure what else to do. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.
