bbPress Theme

    I have not been able to find an explanation of how to get a theme of my choice to work with the bbPress plugin. I am fairly sure it is possible, a number of articles about installing bbPress mentioned it.

    It seems like most people opt to instead install bbPress (not through WordPress) and then pick a theme made for it but frankly those themes are ugly by comparison to what is available for WordPress.

    Does anyone know of where to find an explanation for how to change an arbitrary WordPress theme so that it works with bbPress? I’m a reasonably capable developer by the way, I assumed some amount of coding might be necessary but I don’t know where.

    I just realized I might need to clarify, I have WordPress installed and am using the bbPress plugin. What I would like is to change a WordPress theme to work with the bbPress plugin.

    Apologizes, never mind, realized the theme I was trying was intended for bbPress. I tried a theme I had sitting around for WordPress and it seems to work.
