Basic Theme – Suggestions?

    Hey guys,

    I am looking for my first WordPress theme.

    I want a very basic, clean looking theme with the following:

    -5 simple, tabs across the top of the page
    -The ability to create & position rows/columns of text
    -The ability to change the background & tab colors.

    Can anyone suggest a suitable theme?

    Thanks a lot Esmi, thats great.

    So, are wordpress themes something I can use as a template and then edit as I desire (layout, colors, tab styles etc)?
    Is wordpress the same as Applications like iWeb etc?

    Yes. Or at least you can edit any theme downloaded from http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/

    WordPress is a content management system/

    When you say a content management system.. how is that different from iWeb ?
