   I keep trying to add my API key to the wordpress.com Stats page in order to activate it and then I am sent to a page where I have to re-enter it, as there is a error, or I can click a second window that says it will add the blog to my account. When I click this, I keep circling and it does not accept the number. Double checked my API key and its working on the same blog with askimet. If anyone can give me some input I would much appreciate it.

   Is this key from WordPress.com? If not, you would need to create an account there and use that API key. Note that you can just set up the account and not a blog there.
