   Hello I am brand new to the word press world so you'll find me here a lot until I figure all this out, but I am fairly excited about some of the possibilities with this software.

   I am attempting to finish Asikmet install and it is asking for my API. Well, I went to dashboard/profile, and no API number. There was only a small header reminding me that I need the number to finish installation.

   So my first question is an easy one;

   Where do I - or - how do I generate said API

   You need to register on wordpress.com to get your API key, which you can then use on your self-hosted blog.
