    I am an Amazon associate and would like to include a view ads in my sidebar for books I have read that relate well to my blog. Not looking for context sensitive links. Is there a plug-in for this. I missing something more obvious?

    You can use the built-in links manager. Add a link category for your Amazon books then add the links – book title and Amazon link.

    Then add the Blogroll widget or edit your theme to display the links.

    With this Google search, you will find plenty of Amazon related wordpress plugins.

    This way, you can pick the one that suits your needs best.
