I can't seem to find the option on my toolbar to quote text in an entry. I didn't have it on the fresh installation, so I installed EditorMonkey. Still no luck.
I'm using the Nexus theme.
Can anyone tell me how to add a qoute button to the editing toolbar?
Thanks!
Hello
Are you talking about when creating a post how to add a quoted block of text to the entry? If so there is a "b-quote" button in the create new post toolbar.
Hi and thanks for your prompt reply. I was looking for that button, but I cant seem to find it anywhere. I'm using EditorMonkey.
Can you please point it out to me?

Ola, Daiver.
Strange you do not have the b-quote. You can always insert it manually.

Hi samboll. Thanks for stopping by.
I tried those tags in the editor, but they don't do anything. Instead, they appear visually in the entry. I don't think that if I edit the HTML with those tags they will be recongnized.
So yeah, I'm back to where I was before.
You should have the b-quote button even in the basic editor. Might be worth a shot re-uploading the files in the wp-admin folder. Something is not right.
Perhaps if we went back to one of the two editors that came with WP instead of wrestling with EditorMonkey?
Well, the basic editors don't have the button. It's very weird. I'll try to reupload and see what happens.
Thanks!
Nope. Not working. I think I'm out of options.
THATS IT?!
Sheez man, I almost went crazy over this. Thanks for the three liner that kept me sane.
I guess I learn something every day.
Thank you very much.
took me a while to figure out too when I started using those programs
