[Plugin: Contact Form 7] Contact 7 form not working

Aloha everyone,

I am experiencing 2 problems using only the email field with submit button.
1.)sent message is not visible beneath nav bar,
2.) the email message contains no information, simply this:

From: [your-name] <[your-email]>
Subject: [your-subject]

Message Body:
[your-message]

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
