After enabling the debug log what steps did you follow? The completely empty log indicates that the server has processed no incoming requests.
I didn’t do anything else. I don’t even know what the above info means.
Once you’ve enabled the log you need to recreate the problem.
Then send me the log data and you can turn the log back off.
Just did it and I think it gave me exactly the same thing as before.

Log:At the bottom where it says “log,” I’m assuming that’s where I should be seeing something, but that is the bottom of the box with no option to scroll down.
Hope this helps, but I have a feeling it doesn’t.
“Just did it”
Just did what exactly? What are you doing, what do you see happen. Please be specific about what you are clicking, what events take place…
Sorry. I enabled the log and clicked the link to install the button. It opened Picasa and the box came up to add or remove buttons but there was no button to choose.
I just went back in to disable the log and there was new information there.

The issue appears to be that when Picasa launches it is not making the request to your server to download the button content. It sounds like something is up with the version of Picasa you have on your machine.
What version of Picasa Desktop do you have? And what platform (Windows, OSX…)
Not sure I’ll be able to do anything to help. Google has deprecated this interface and one potential is you have a newer version of Picasa that has removed the support.
My version of Picasa Desktop is 3.8.0 and I have Windows.
I might know what’s going on… From the button URL above I grabbed your site name and tried to download the button file. But I ended up on a page requiring a password to login.
That’s going to be a problem. Picasa needs to be able to access the page to download the button as a public – no login required – page. Because your site is configured to require a login, Picasa can’t access the button file.
You could try manually downloading the pbz file by visiting the page in your browser. ie:
http://*your-site*.com/picasa_album_uploader/picasa_album_uploader.pbz
Then put the pbz file into the Picasa configuration directory on your Windows box. I don’t have windows so I can’t tell you exactly where to look, and it’s apparently different depending on which release you are running. You could try the following locations:
Windows: C:\Program Files\Google\Picasa3\buttons
XP: C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Picasa3\buttons
Vista: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Google\Picasa3\buttonsI should mention…
… the only public access that should be required is to download the button file. To upload images, you should be presented with login page and once you’ve entered valid credentials you can upload images.
I temporarily disabled the log-in page and was able to install the button, but then when I tried to upload photos I got a message that said “sorry but no pictures were received from Picasa. I will look on the forums tomorrow for possible solutions for that problem.
Thank you so much for figuring that out for me. I would have never thought of it.
You’re welcome.
The new error you are seeing is discussed in the plugin FAQ. Sounds like you have either Suhosin or mod_security installed on your server.
