[Plugin: Role Scoper] Role to allow add/edit posts for specific categories only?

    I’m using WordPress Multisite and I need to allow the managers of each blog to only be able to create and edit posts within specific categories (as well as manage comments). Is that something I can do with this plugin?

    They won’t have access to manage the categories, but there will be a few categories that they use for creating new posts and editing posts only in those categories as well.

    Yes, category-specific editing access is one of Role Scoper’s primary purposes. You can activate the plugin network-wide, then go into each site backend and assign Category Roles as desired via the “Roles > Categories” menu item.
