I use qTranslate and WP-Translate Reloaded on one site.
In the titles of the tables I use multiple languages, like:

    <!--:nl-->Seizoen 2010<!--:--><!--:en-->Season 2010<!--:--><!--:de-->Saison 2010<!--:-->

This way I don’t have to have multiple tables, which (exept for the titles) are exact copies of each other – containing prices. This set-up makes price changes easy to manage: just change one table and you’re done.
    This worked fine until resent.

Now, the “parsing” of the multi-language titles seems to fail:
All languages display only the German (de) part of the tables. So, Dutch (nl) or English (en) texts with German prices.

It gets really funny though. When I am logged in as admin, I see the correct part of the tables – so, only the Dutch part of the title in Dutch texts, etc. When accessing the site as a normal visitor, the German prices re-appear.

    Boggle!

    Anyone any idea what’s happening?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    thanks for your posts.

You are affected by a drawback of the caching feature that was added in WP-Table Reloaded 1.9.
It is only active for non-logged in users, therefore you do not experience the problem when logged in.

To change this, simply deactivate Caching for all tables that have these multi-language titles on their respective “Edit” screens.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

wow just found this solution thought i was going crazy thanks

    Hi Tom,

yeah, the caching can cause trouble on content that has dynamic dependencies… Sorry about the extra work.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

hi Tobias, no need to apologise. Great found some great solutions here, now if only get wp table reloaded talking to contact form 7 in another tab i will be jumping up and down with happiness. 🙂

    Hi Tom,

what do you mean with getting the two plugins to talk to each other?
If you want to fill a table in WP-Table Reloaded with the data submitted in a Contact Form 7 form, I have bad news, I’m afraid. This is not possible really, as tables in WP-Table Reloaded can only be edited through the “Edit” screen at this time.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi Tobias,

Sorry if i wasnt clear, What i want to do is pass two values from the tables on the first tab :here: two a contact 7 form which will be in a third tab, the values i want to pass are the course id and course type. to two fields in the form (course type and course id)

    an example is :here:

if you click on the course id in any of the tables in pre populates the two fields in the form.

It’s using the same two plugins the only difference i can see is that their contact form is in a side bar where mine is will be in the 3rd tab.

I tried creating a form using the contact form 7 and dynaimc text plugin but cant get the link variable right in the table i think.

    best regards

    tom

hi Tobias Ignore the above part i managed to get it working, just trying to figure out to send a “pretty” url to the page instead of what i am sending now.

    Hi,

    ah, thanks for the explanation.

I don’t have a solution for the pretty URLs unfortunately, but I would actually suggest a different way (which is also used by the other site that you linked to):
Instead of using real URLs with parameters, you might want to try a JavaScript solution that simply sets the values of the form fields on the form tab.
With some jQuery code, this should not be too difficult, I can imagine.

    Hi,

yeah, sorry about that 🙂 While the caching feature is nice, there are these tiny little things where it does more “damage” than it helps 🙂

Great that you found this thread!

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
