Newbie-Email to blog Setup?

I just recently set my wordpress blog up and I am trying to post by email. I have assigned an email address and entered the POP3 information, but when I email to the account, nothing happens. Is there a special script that I need to install. I was thinking that just entering the information in the “Options” tab would suffice. Please Help
