There is only one albumtable, phototable, …/wp-content/uploads/wppa/ directory per wp installation.
So in other words, it won’t work on a network installation. Gotcha.
Can you include that in the readme/installation instructions in the future?
You jump to conclusions. You are always welcome to ask for enhancements.
In version 2.4.3 there will be the following:
Last album used will be remembered on a per username basis.
There will be sub-folders in the wppa-depot on a per username basis.
Will that suit your needs?
I’m not jumping to conclusions, it doesn’t work for network installations now.
Linking albums to usernames would be an excellent feature. It’s a very nice album plugin and I would love to get it working for my school. My only problem right now, is if I activate it across my network of blogs, the wrong pictures start showing up in galleries.
Besides the above, in the next version (2.4.3) albums will hav an owner by login name. The administrator can set the album access to ‘owner only’ for edit, upload and import actions.
The owner can give his albums to an other user, the administrator can change the owner of the album always and will have access to he albums for upload etc always.
It is currently under test and will be released in a few days.
Im currently using the photo album plus 3.0.5 and I seem to have the same issue… do I just have my settings wrong here, how do I use this in multi site so that the images are not being placed in other users photo albums?
Thank you,
