  • i think u should give google sometime. and it would be better if you decide on one of these URI to remain the default one and use htaccess file to redirect the user to that address if he types the other one. and link from other resources to this particular URI only… consistency helps…

Sorry – think i posted in the wrong forum… i’ll go over to How-to and Troubleshooting

    ok – i’ll give google time…

which is better URI? www or not www?

and how to write the mod rewrite for htaccess for the redirect?

I’ll get flamed (again) for saying this, but this really is nothing to do with WP. How Google does ads is a Google issue.

    I’m sorry.

I didn’t realize the source of my problem. I just hoping I could handle with my files. I didn’t know it was soley a google related issue.

    Thank you for answering.

matt himself prefer without www… i have started to use URIs without www as well. it does not matter. just consider this. your pals link to you. what URI they have used. if they have used www stick to it. as for htaccess to… i will have to google that! 🙂

    Thanks Sushubh! You’re a peach !

I went over to google and posed the question to them. We’ll see what they respond with…

I’ve just started promoting my site without the www and was hoping to get some relevant adsense ads coming through.

I’ll look into the rewrite as well.

i see god related ads here just fine. 🙂
