   Hey guys,
   New to the board so I hope I'm doing this correctly, I search and read a number of post but I can't seem to get my installation going.

   I've uploaded everything to http://ouralbum.isayisay.com/wordpress/

   but when I run the installation on
   http://ouralbum.isayisay.com/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php

   I get the "Error establishing a database connection". I've tripled checked that I have the db_name, login and password correct.

   One thing I'm not sure is whether my php is setup correctly. My db_name is set to myalbum.isayisay.com, but the weird thing when I log in it says I don't have permission to create databases, so I'm not sure if that's a problem or not.

   Any information you guys can provide is greatly appreciated!!

   That sounds like either a PHP or MySQL mis-configuration. Are you trying to setup locally on a PC or a Mac?

   Hi all.

   I think I am having the same problems.

   I got everything up to the server. I ran the http://www.echo9er.net/blog/wp-admin/install.php, and got all the way through the password.

   When I logged on, I got some error messages.

   I closed everything, opened my browser and pointed to http://www.echo9er.net/blog/wp-admin, logged on with the username and password sent via email and was faced with the following errors:

   Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/echoern/public_html/blog/wp-config.php:23) in /home/echoern/public_html/blog/wp-includes/pluggable-functions.php on line 109

   Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/echoern/public_html/blog/wp-config.php:23) in /home/echoern/public_html/blog/wp-includes/pluggable-functions.php on line 110

   Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/echoern/public_html/blog/wp-config.php:23) in /home/echoern/public_html/blog/wp-includes/pluggable-functions.php on line 111

   Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/echoern/public_html/blog/wp-config.php:23) in /home/echoern/public_html/blog/wp-includes/pluggable-functions.php on line 112

   So, at this point, any help is appreciated.

   Hosting service: Total Choice Hosting
