Beginner, stuck on 2.8.6 installation.

    1. Unzip the package in an empty directory.
    2. Open up     wp-config-sample.phpwith a text editor like WordPad or similar and fill in the database connection details.
    I dont know what to do on number 2. I opened it with notepad and i have know idea what im supposed to put in it. My web hoster is A Small Orange, do i get it from them somehow, and how would i do that.

    You can actually upload the files and from your web browser, navigate to your directory which you uploaded the files.

    There should be a step-by-step form which will guide you through and create the wp-config.php on your server.

    As for the database info, You should be able to find it from your hosting cpanel/administration panel.
