[Plugin: Picasa Photos] Not working at all

I installed today this plugin in my local test installation of WP, updated to the last version, confident about the recent update (mid-october), but it doesn’t work at all, and it has a strange behaviour in the config panels.

In the settings panel i inserted a valid username and tried both with/out value for the cache expire, when saving the page returned is blank and the widget does not fetch any gallery from the user (that has various galleries).
Tried to refresh the cache first but i still get a blank page.

After these operations (save&refresh) the disclose triangles of the menu-panels of WP don’t work anymore, i need to click on the title to access a menu.
