Post Templates & User Messages – Looking for Ideas

Hi,

Post Templates is a plugin to ease publication of repetitive posts (such as a picture of the day). http://wordpress.org/plugins/extend/post-template/

User Messages is a plugin that adds messenging capabilities to your WordPress site (Users have an Inbox and can send messages to other users). http://wordpress.org/plugins/extend/user-messages/

I am opening this new thread to get some input with respect to what the plugins should become: which features are missing? What should be improved? What would you expect from such plugins?
