Use wp-ContactForm. PXS Mail Form is almost entirely wp-ContactForm with the domain check added.

I actually started out using wp-contactform, but I had some problems getting it to stay in place. The main text input field stretched out very far and covered part of my sidebar. That’s why I wanted to try something else.
So now, following your advice, I’m back to wp-contactform.
Thank you for your help! I need someone to help me think clearly amidst all these forms and versions of forms. 🙂
There’s another download where you got PXS Mail, TH that doesn’t have the domain check. It’s labelled for Windows servers or something, I can’t remember. And macmanx, there are other things added to PXS Mail than in WP Contact Form (aside from the domain check)…just for the record.

I thought the alternative version was the one called Compatibility version. I tried both flavors of form that I found there but they both did the domain check, which surprised me a little.
I’ve gotten wp-ContactForm to work now so it should be ok. The redirect back to the homepage-function in PXS was wonderful tho. I shall miss that.
Hmm…perhaps I’m remembering wrong. Well, I apologize. Glad you’ve got at least something working for you!!
TH: if I get a chance I’ll get the redirect built into the next version. I’ve spent the last 3 days trying to recover my site and move to a new host.

That’s great news, ryanduff! I noticed that there were strange things going on at your site yesterday. Hope everything works out.
