[Plugin: Pretty Link] Support on site is nonexistant

well, i have installed up to the latest version of this plugin. On the outside it looks like a great tool to have, that is if it would actually work.
I have been trying to post questions on the authors site for 2 weeks almost 10 times now and none of my questions have shown up in the comments log on the plugin site.
I am very disappointed in the performance or non performance of this plugin and the support on the plugin site, which is pointless because none of my questions get posted therefore no answer to those questions.
There is no contact form on the site to email the author directly which is a huge pain in the rear. Biggest mistake you can make, not having a contact form on your site. Isn’t that website/blog 101?
I would just like to get some help and get this plugin to live up to it’s promise.
Bascially I have tried every troubleshooting tip on the author site. still getting the 404 not found error.
My site is hosted at Hostgator, php and apache are the most current versions, I am using custom permalinks already so that does not need to be changed. My permalinks work flawlessly.
What other plugins does this thing not play nice with?
Get a better support system for your plugin!!!
