   Nothing more dangerous on earth than a girl with a fresh copy of PHP for Dummies and an entire weekend ahead of her, eh?

   My question is, even though there are themes in 1.5, they don't allow the site's visitor to change the style at whim. Is there any reason that some of the PHP techniques already in use in, e.g., domesticat's technique (http://www.domesticat.net/skins/tutorial/the_index2.php) can't work with WP? Just wondering. Before, since the style switcher plugin was always available, it never was an issue. Now, I'm wondering if there aren't other ways to accomplish this.

   Forgive me if this is a stupid question; as I said before, I know just enough PHP to be dangerous!

   I think the new themes mode in 1.5 lends itself perfectly to using a skin switcher.

   I am working to where my headers and footers are more consistent between themes, I think that will make it easier.

   Before I go ahead and take my site down(due to my blatant trying to fix things), I'm 100% sure I copy and pasted the code exactly the way it should be. Should I be reciveing this errors?

   Please ignore that comment. I had to change "<?php" to "<?" in order for it to work

   The usual cause of that error is whitespace either before the opening <?php or after the closing ?> in the plugin file. Open it in a text editor and make sure there are no spaces or line breaks at the end...
