I am new to wordpress and am loving the experience of getting it all together and uploading tons of previously unpublished content.
I have searched the forums for previous comments on panoramas and come up short so I think these questions should be valid and hopefully serve as a start for ideas about a largely evolving area of Photography
I have several Panorama files currently in QTVR which I want to display in my blog. Firstly embedded into a post which seems simple enough even without plugins and secondly in a separate dedicated page However I would like to create small images which represent each panorama, that begin to scroll when the mouse hovers over them. When a user then clicks on the image I would like it to open on a page instead of a post so that I can make the panorama span the full screen and provide a really immersive feeling.
Example of scrolling mini pic:

When you click on a map point a box pops up with an image that responds to a mouse over. What I need is the image without the map!
Example of immersive Panorama:

So my questions/discussion points are as follows:
1 - How can I make small mouse activated scrolling pictures from a large panorama source image? (Large rectangular jpeg)
2 - What in your opinions is the best way to display a large panorama embedded in a wordpress page? (to the edges of the theme box side bars removed, so not quite full screen width the image should remain 'within' my theme)
3 any other ideas on ways to present panoramas with class inside a blog? There are many Panorama sites popping up and some awesome photography beginning to appear so it would be good for Wordpress to incorporate it.
For reference my blog is at:

Cheers!
