Importing RSS feed posts and snippets into a page

I can’t seem to figure out how to import an RSS feed (post title AND snippet) into a page. I’ve found many ways to import rss feeds by displaying a list of recent posts, but can’t find anything that will display the post content as well. I’ve found ways to do this with javascript or flash with Widget Box, but I would like to be able to do this with good ‘ol fashioned text.

For example, I’d like to create a page on my blog that displays my favorite blogs and pulls the most recent posts (with content). So the page would display a collection of 4-5 blogs with 4-5 posts and content from each. It doesn’t have to be the entire post, but maybe a snippet with 1-2 paragraphs.

I’ve searched through the forums, plugins, and all of google, but can’t seem to find out how to do this.

Is there a hack or some code I can modify? Am I just not seeing a plugin that’s available?
