Anything better than Press This and QuickPost?

Unfortunately, the Press This and QuickPost posting interfaces don’t work for me, mainly because if I select a large amount of text, they balk at the idea of automatically posting the stuff into their forms. I get this error message: Request-URI Too Large; The requested URL’s length exceeds the capacity limit for this server.

Is there any interface that can handle large amounts of text?

But even more importantly, is there an interface that offers the same options that the native editor uses? iow, in my case, such things as excerpt and all-in-one-seo.
