Hmm, there seems to be a major bug in this plugin.
I have the default wordpress limit set to 10.
With this plugin, I changed the number of posts on Categories and Archives page to 100 and on the front page to 5.
Now, these show the right amount of posts in their respective pages but the error comes up if you go to the next page. For example, if I go to second page from my front page(http://domain.com/page/2/) then the first post will start from the 11th post, not from the 6th post, as it should!
The same goes for category page. If I go to second page of category(http://domain.com/category/page/2/), the posts will start from 11th post, and post numbers 11-110 will be shown, even though post numbers 1-100 were shown in the first page.
I hope you understand the problem, I tried my best to explain it.
So the default limit of 10 for wordpress is influencing the results. Can this problem be solved? or does it have to be like this?
Thanks

Perfect!
This plugin seems to work.
Plus it is also able to show different number of posts for different categories. That could come in handy.
Thanks Dgold! 🙂
Plug-in is working great for me too!
I was wondering if you know of a similar plug-in that allows you to vary the number of posts shown in the category feeds?
In settings I have set, ‘Blog pages show at most ‘ to 5, so 5 pages show on my homepage. I have set ‘Syndication feeds show the most recent’ to so that the main site feed shows the same 5 posts as the homepage. However, even though I can use the CQS plug in to show all posts in a category when viewing the category, the category feed still only shows 5 results. How can I get, for example, http://mydomain.com/index.php/category/categoryname/feed to show all the posts in that category?
Excellent plugin, thanks so much!
