Able to upload images via Iphone, but not image uploader

I’m not able to upload pictures using the WordPress image uploader, but I am able to upload pictures using the WordPress app on my Iphone. Any thoughts on how that’s possible.
I’ve gone through the forums trying to resolve my issue (changed my php.ini upload directory, added the code to .htaccess, changed to folder permissions, etc.), but the problem persists. Any ideas on how I can fix resolve my problem?
