HELP Needed – Cant log into admin side

    Hello, I have a wordpress site running at http://www.valp.org the meat of the site sits in a sub directory at /main/ and the site has till a few mins ago been running fine. However we just tried to log in and make some updates and the password no longer works and the recover password does not seem to reconize admin or my email address for the site. I just keeps coming back to the signin page. I looked in the sql data base via phpmyadmin and the wp_user is there as well as my username and email addy. Can anyone help. I found a post with an emergency script and tried that to no avail.

    Follow exactly, the procedures listed in Resetting Your Password – Through phpMyAdmin. It works. Remember you have to change the Function to MD5 so it saves the password as MD5.

    thanks for the reply, I am trying really hard to follow the porcedures, i have phpMyAdmin – 2.11.5.1 on my server and things just dont seem to line up. or i am just really dumb. i can find the user_pass field and i click browse, it returns on one but i do not see how to “edit” it , any other help you may have for me?

    ok I found how to change the password but it is still not letting me log in 🙁
