   Hi
   Can a WordPress Intranet be stored on a normal webserver? Or must it be installed on a local server behind a firewall?

   Wordpress doesn't care if it's behind a firewall or not. I'm not sure what your problem is / needs are based on your question. At my firm we have a blog on our intranet which is inaccessible to the outside world because it's on a server that is not publicly accessible.

   I have many blogs on internet on public web servers.

   The blog setup is the same, it is the server setup / DNS that is different.
