Thanks Michael…I’ll check em out.
Those other posts didn’t really come to a conclusion.
So far I’ve greenlighted all features in the Privacy settings in ZoneAlarm for WordPress and my blog and still no log-in button?
I even turned on the Privacy Advisor in ZA and nothing appears to interfere with my blog or WP now?
PLUS…when I first installed ZA it was working with my blog, it’s only after I rebooted that the trouble began…anyone else having this problem?
Well if you turn ZA off, do you have the problem?
If it’s blocking the WordPress cookies from your browser, you won’t be “logged in” when you view your blog.
ZoneAlarm can be funky. Even when it’s running but you think it’s disabled, strange things can occur.
Frankly, I hate ZA and recommend removing it entirely on all machines everywhere. It’s too difficult to work with, puts too much strain on the system, and doesn’t actually offer any real “protection” of any sort. Trash it, it’s garbage.
I just turned off ZA and still no Site Admin button? WTF?
Just cleared browser cache for both Firefox and IE and still nothing? ZA is turned off.
It’s working now…somehow with all crazp I’ve done its started working.
Trying to log-in I’m getting this
ERROR: WordPress requires Cookies but your browser does not support them or they are blocked.
although I’ve enabled cookies and haven’t changed anything since yesterday when it worked OK!
