Description
VideoWhisper Video for Tutor LMS adds a Media Capture tab to WordPress’s existing Media modal in Tutor LMS Course Builder. Instructors can capture and review local webcam video, microphone audio, screen recordings, photos, and screenshots before saving them in the site’s own Media Library.
The plugin keeps Tutor LMS’s original media controls available. It adds course, lesson, and quiz-question media capture where the native controls already accept media. Quiz prompt captures are embedded in the question description and can be replaced or removed before the instructor confirms the existing Tutor LMS action.

Privacy
Captured media is uploaded to the WordPress Media Library on the site where this plugin is installed. This plugin does not include analytics or telemetry and does not make remote service requests.

Installation
- Install and activate Tutor LMS.
- Upload the
videowhisper-video-for-tutor-lmsfolder to/wp-content/plugins/, or install the plugin ZIP from Plugins Add New Upload Plugin. - Activate VideoWhisper Video for Tutor LMS.
- Open Tutor LMS VideoWhisper to review capture settings.
- Edit a course in Tutor LMS Course Builder and use the existing Media controls or the added Media Capture actions.

Does this plugin require a VideoWhisper account?

No. Captured media is uploaded to the site’s own WordPress Media Library.

Does this plugin send recordings to VideoWhisper?

No. This plugin uploads captured media only to the WordPress Media Library on the site where it is installed. It does not send recordings to VideoWhisper services.

Can I disable individual integration areas?

Yes. Tutor LMS VideoWhisper has separate toggles for Course Basics, lessons, and quiz questions.

Where is the recorder source?

The bundled recorder is built from the GPL-2.0-or-later VideoWhisper Webcam, Microphone & Screen Recorder source. Review its readable source and build instructions at https://github.com/videowhisper/Webcam-Microphone-Screen-Recorder . Developers may build a compatible recorder release there and replace the included browser bundle. Source maps and development dependencies are not included in this plugin package.
