HPOS Compatible

StoreNest is fully compatible with WooCommerce’s High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS) and uses the official WooCommerce CRUD APIs throughout — no direct database queries, no compatibility headaches.

External services

This plugin optionally connects to the Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) email marketing API to subscribe site administrators to the PluginNests mailing list when they voluntarily enter their email address in an admin notice banner.

What data is sent: The administrator’s email address and the subscription source identifier (“storenest-plugin-banner”).
When it is sent: Only when the site administrator explicitly types their email and clicks the “Send Me the PDF” button in the admin banner. No data is sent automatically.

If the Brevo API is not configured, the email is stored locally in the WordPress database and no external request is made.

Installation

Upload the storenest-for-woocommerce folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory, or install via the WordPress plugins screen.
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
You’ll find StoreNest in your WordPress admin menu — click it to open your new portal.
Go to StoreNest Staff to assign staff roles and set permissions.
Staff users will be automatically redirected to StoreNest when they log in.

FAQ

Will StoreNest interfere with WooCommerce?: No. StoreNest only adds to WooCommerce — it never modifies WooCommerce core files or replaces any WooCommerce functionality. All data is read and written through WooCommerce’s official CRUD APIs.
Can admins still access the regular WordPress admin?: Yes. Only users with the storenest_staff role or users without manage_options capability are redirected. Administrators retain full access to both the StoreNest portal and the regular WordPress admin.
Does it work with HPOS?: Yes. StoreNest declares full HPOS compatibility and uses the WooCommerce Order CRUD API exclusively.
Is it compatible with my WooCommerce plugins?: StoreNest works alongside virtually all WooCommerce plugins since it accesses data through standard WooCommerce APIs. If you encounter any incompatibilities, please open a support thread.
