Installation
- Upload the plugin folder to
/wp-content/plugins/or install StockBeacon – Product Waitlists for WooCommerce from the WordPress Plugins screen. - Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.
- Ensure WooCommerce is installed, active, and meets the minimum version (see FAQ).
- Open WooCommerce Waitlist to review settings and subscriber data.

Does this plugin require WooCommerce?

Yes. This plugin runs only when WooCommerce is active. If WooCommerce is missing, the plugin shows an admin notice and does not initialize.

Which versions do I need?

StockBeacon requires WordPress 6.0+, PHP 8.0+, and WooCommerce 8.0+.

Do customers get emailed automatically when I restock?

Yes. When a tracked waitlist item changes back to in stock, the plugin schedules background notification batches automatically. Pro adds delivery timing controls and restock reminders.

Where do I manage waitlist subscribers?

Use WooCommerce Waitlist in wp-admin to review subscribers, filter waitlists, view activity, export CSV files, and run debug checks. You also get waitlist visibility in the WooCommerce product list and in each product’s Waitlist product-data tab.

Does it work with variable products?

Yes. StockBeacon creates separate per-variation waitlists, so each size, color, or style can collect its own subscribers and trigger its own restock notifications.

Is there a shortcode or block?

Shortcode and block support are Pro features. In free, the notify form is shown automatically on eligible out-of-stock product pages.

Can I customize the notify form?

Yes. The plugin includes the default responsive form and lets developers override the template with
stockbeacon-product-waitlists-for-woocommerce/form-out-of-stock.phpin the active theme. Pro adds the visual form editor, presets, colors, layout controls, and live preview. -
How do I export subscriber data?

Open WooCommerce Waitlist, optionally choose product/status/date filters, and click Download CSV.
